Why is our Turmeric golden milk spice mix blend so good? 

Our Turmeric golden milk spice mix blend is a must have due to its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. This is largely attributed to curcumin, the active compound in turmeric. Regular consumption may help reduce inflammation, improve brain function, and lower the risk of chronic diseases such as heart disease. It also supports digestion and boosts the immune system.

​The combination of turmeric with black pepper enhances the absorption of curcumin by approximately 2,000%. The active compound in black pepper, piperine (Piper nigrum), suppresses  the digestive enzymes in your stomach thus allowing more curcumin to enter the bloodstream and stay in the body longer. This significantly boosts the rate at which the curcumin is absorbed into the bloodstream making it more available for the body to use it. The other spices (ginger, cinnamon, cardamom and clove) add further health benefits and enhances the flavour.

Instructions: 

• Maintenance dosage: Mix 1/2tsp daily with 1 cups of a milk of your choice. Simmer in a pot for 10min. Turn off heat, cool, sweeten to taste and enjoy.  

• During illness: Mix 1/2tsp daily with 1 cups of a milk of your choice into a pot. Simmer for 10min. Turn off heat, cool and enjoy. Repeat morning and at night after meals.

• Store in you cool spice cupboard. Once opened use within 6 months.
